1. Create an account
Making an account is quick, simple, and free. Once your account is made, the system will let you make reservations (when available), keep track of your pieces, sign up for classes, and more! We can easily help you create an account on your first visit with us. Once your account is made, you'll have access to the handbuilding portion of the studio. Want to use the wheels? Check our About section below:
2. Create with clay!
After your account is made, come in and create what you want! We recommend making a reservation to be sure you have a spot, but reservations are free and simple to book in the user dashboard. Once you submit your work of art, your piece will dry for about two weeks before going through its first firing (the bisque fire). Once that's done, you'll book a time to come back in to glaze your piece from our many selections for its glaze firing.
You'll be charged for the pieces you make based on their weight when first submitted, with glazing and a second firing included in the initial price.
3. Create a new hobby? (optional)
If you just can't get enough, consider becoming a member! You'll have two options for your membership:
- Handbuilding: Want to make with clay but don't want to use the wheel? This is the one for you! You'll be charged a lower monthly rate for membership and will have access to the handbuilding space and equipment. Handbuilding members will have shared shelf space. No previous experience is required for handbuilding memberships.
- Wheel Throwing + Handbuilding: Want to try your hands at the wheel? This one's for you! For slightly more per month, gain access to the full studio, including the wheels. You'll have your own 15.5" x 33" shelf. Handbuilding members who have no experience on the wheel but would like to learn will receive a discounted rate on classes.
