Garden Ornament: Tortoise

Make your very own garden tortoise in this three-week handbuilding class! All experience levels welcome. Learn the various techniques and tricks used to make a garden tortoise ornament. Give it your own personality and embellishments or make it the abstract essence of a tortoise- you'll have the opportunity to make your terrapin your own personal statement piece.

Our rough schedule: we will attempt to have all body parts made during our first week. During week two we will assemble our tortoises, and on week three we will decorate and make them our own. Come back to glaze them once they're bisqued (a few weeks) to get them ready for the great outdoors! Glazing done on your own schedule, included in class price.
